Grumbles
The title tells it all.
haiz...
Anyways, the story goes that I was hoping to finish the FYP work for next week this week. Went to see my prof... Everything was like ok. Then I showed him my code and he was like: Why you never include the L and W?
And it was another round of: 'You should have known', 'I thought you would have figured out'...
The bottomline was, I had to redo whatever I did for the past 3 weeks with the inclusion of the missing parameters.
I can see my weekend and Chu San flying away liaoz.
I didn't want to argue with him lah. No use. It's my principle: I may feel that I am wronged, but if the other party is not totally at fault too, I won't bother myself to pursue a lengthy argument. Solving the task at hand is more important.
So I'll grumble down here.
Anyways, it's unfair to say that I'm responsible for everything since it was MY FYP. But I pay thousands a year to get those professors employed. I don't care about those creative-learning, independent working shit. I paid for the service and I deserved it. One thing detestable about professors is that they like to shirk responsibilities by throwing out all those independent-learning shit.
Just like taxi companies attribute their high rental fees to rising fuel costs when they are still reaping significant profits yearly. Just like companies throwing their interns to do shit work in the name of exposure to work environment. Just like irritating drivers who think they can break all the rules in the world when they have the right of way.
