Haiz...
Received 2 rejections from my applications together. So... it's 100% rejection now lol
The thing that made me feel not-so-good was that I wasn't even considered for interview. Wa lao... I didn't send my transcripts what, why will they reject me straight in the face? Perhaps it was the exact reason that they rejected me: No transcripts.
nah!
Whatever.
My string of unfortunate events began a few days ago.
Had a slight fever from the sudden onset of flu, dropped my hp into the drain and some other usual stuff like missing the lift or bus by just a fraction of a second... etc...
But one thing I must say is that Nokia 6300 is rather hardy. Though it went bonkers straight after its swim, with the repeated, automatic switching on and off and misting of the screen, it has been working quite normally today.
And what...?
Oh, I began to have a love-hate attitude towards driving lessons.
I dread going for lessons, cos I would have to face a lot of criticisms and scoldings from my instructor. The past lesson, there was a juncture of time when my instructor said something which brought tears to the brim of my eyes.
But with so many things at hand during driving, and having the underlying will to keep my composure, I actually managed to brush it off and continued driving calmly. Hypnotizing myself before the lesson (I SHALL BE CALM TODAY...) worked. Unlike the previous lessons, when I panicked, I managed to 'survive' the whole lesson unflustered.
Which brings me to why I love the lessons.
Very rarely in life do I face such direct reprimands. I know there were many times when I did something wrong; friends condoned my mistakes out of love and foes hoped I would continue down the slope. I knew the consequences of being a fragile strawberry, but no one gave me the chance to work towards becoming a durian.
In the past lesson, I actually managed to brush off the harsh comments by my instructor. And thanks to my bad memory, I can't actually recall what actually hurt me. All I remember was that I survived through another emotional hurt and without putting my performance at risk.
Parallel parking was ok, so was my vertical parking. My only woe was the inability to judge whether I am 'straight'. Not just the final stage of parking, but also at the initial part, where I have to park my car straight, between or beside the dividing line (depends on which type of parking) so that my car will consequently end up in the right position without hitting the poles.
Driving wise, my problem was still the inability to take in all the information and process them timely. But I must say I am improving as I get more familiar, and thus able to subject them to my 2nd layer of consciousness, with the different things I have to look out for. For example, changing gear is now ingrained in me. No more fumbles!!
arh...
Nothing else more.
I am still adapting to school term, reaching LTs on time. Unfortunately, 2 modules I am taking has students filled to the brim. And they won't have webcast, meaning the LTs will still be filled to the brim for the whole sem.
I hate it. I hate the stuffy LTs.
On the other hand, I had another module held in Engin Audi, which I suppose can hold over 200 people, but have a student take-up rate of 30-something.
Very calm and peaceful.
But the lecturer, whom I assume is a Korean, mumbles and eats his words. Same with my Engin Prof module's lecturer. But I can't blame the latter. He seemed to have a 'short tongue', which resulted him being unable to pronounce words properly. But on the 1st lecture, he showed a SUPER BORING 40-min video, of which the 1st 50% was irrelevant to the module.

God is testing me, you see.
I will emerge a better man ; )
